Hello and welcome to my slice of blogspace. A place to explore and express my creative spirit. I decided to start blogging to share my DIY projects and bargain finds inspired by rich cultural art and decor. Here you will find pics and more pics. Most will be of projects that I have in progress and some that I may encounter on internetville that inspires me. Right now my hubby and I, yep just us two with my furry holland bunny lop, Bailey lives in an apartment.

Its pretty much a blank canvas. Eventually we'll be purchasing a house, but until then I want to give our apartment space some character, color and culture. My first project is our bedroom. I selected the theme Journey to India after I walked into HomeGoods (I LOVE that store) with a whole different color pallette in mind. The front display with all the unique and authentic bright items immediately caught my eyes. So Journey to India it is! I'll be back soon to share some items. For now here's a picture shot of a bouquet of felt fabric roses that I just finished making. I placed them in some really vibrant beautiful lantern vases I discovered from World Market, another store I LOVE.
